Witha record number of exhibitors and 7,226 visitors from 59 countries, the 7thedition of MEDICAL FAIR THAILAND fortified its position as Southeast Asia’smost established medical and healthcare event.The 3-day exhibition which focusedon hospital, diagnostic, pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation equipmentand supplies, welcomed 600 exhibitors from 42 countries including 15 national pavilionsand country groups from Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Japan,Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom and for thefirst time the United States of America,Turkey and Italy. The internationalityof the exhibition was further reflected in the number of visitors, an increaseof 13% compared to the last edition in 2013. 34% of the overall visitors camefrom overseas,mainly from ASEAN countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar,Philippines and Vietnam, as well as other Asian countries including China,India, Japan and Taiwan.
